This is a basinette chris designed and built for his daughter Zoe. I love this piece and would love to own it just so I could stare at it every day.

most nights when I lay awake twitching, staring at the fuzznoize that eyes see in the dark, i ponder the many books i am too scared to start writing. well, not many. a few. many of my favorite authors often throw in little allusions here and there about writing books within their books….how writing books isn’t hard…the hard part is just doing it.

Cerre gave me these awesome Asteroid lamps for my birthday.  Late at night…like now…after putting in too many hours for the effhole company (16again today)…I zen out in my den of chillness with these lamps on, and just enjoy the quiet. I absorb the radness of the other great design pieces Cerre has also given me or that we have somehow acquired.  This is kinda of what it’s like:

The ol’ So Totally Sick and RAD theme was beginning to feel a lil bit tired, played. I needed to update some backend stuff here anyway and when I did I realized I’d have to do a crap load of work to bring the old theme up to date, or I could just design a newer more better lookage and feelage.  So I’m in the process of tearing down and remodeling the STSR site.  Thanks to Derek Punsalan from 5thirtyone.com for the sleek Grid Focus theme which will serve as my new ground zero. I plan to hack the shit out of it to make it my own (sorry Derek), so expect the place to look a little bit erm…in flux over the next couple days as I tweak and twiddle trying to get things put in their place.
